Duplicate Devices

Do the devices in slots 001-081 (the old IJN, US and UK guns) actually serve a purpose or are they holdovers from WitP? I cant find them used in any ship classes (not that I've gone through every single one), but they are still there and thus still on the intel screen - which may lead to confusion.

Would just like to know if theres a non obvious use for them, or can they all just be deleted?

001-081 are holdovers. Be very careful before you start deleting anything. You need to know exactly what you are doing and there are many traps for the unwary.

Which is probably why I'll just make sure to match the data on all identical if differently named devices and leave it at that. Not like I'm short on slots. Or time.

Whats the deal with the #1688-1693 45cm Torpedo devices? They dont seem to get used by anything, yet give a better representation of the IJN airdropped torpedoes than the generic #101 18in Torpedo device - are these also just something that was considered but never got used?
