Times are tight so...

How different from the WItP manual is the new one? Are the games similar enough to use the WItP manual?
Is the new one included in the boxed game?

Re that last one. I poked around a bit looking for a definitive statement and not seeing one figured it was better to ask rather then assume it was and get upset if it arrived without it.

The game comes with electronic manuals.  So it isn't absolutely necessary to have a dead tree edition of the manual. 

The editor is a completely new program from the original and the new game is pretty different from WitP.  The basic features of both games are similar, but I think you'd get confused trying to learn any details about AE from the original WitP manual.
