weird PH attack

Post by elpaco »

Hi,

downloaded the game last night in no more than 20 minutes. Good job guys [:)]
I immediately started the campaign, historical first turn Dec 7 and watched :

I was amazed to see that during the raid on PH, not a single torepdo was launched [&:]
all Kates launched bombs although they were set as "Using torpedoes".

anyone having experienced the same ?
sorry if it has been discussed elsewhere...

meanwhile, the results was ok : 3 sunk BB, 3 heavily damaged (around 60 sys), 2 less damaged (around 40)
but this was achieved with bombs only ...

I have started three games so far, two historical, and a non 7th start. In both my historical games the IJN used a array of ordance against my fleet assets in Pearl Harbor. In fact when I watch it all I can think of is "Steel Rain". Typically its torpedos or 800 type bombs...none of which are kind or gentle.
