A little help please

hi all
hope not to be to much of a nusiance but hav just downloaded the demo for SLDG and think it looks great and after reading what some of you hav said about it cannot wait to get stuck in:D

but thats the problem.... i get into the game and suddenly am confronted with a mass of drop down tables buttons and other bits and bobs and i hav'nt got the foggiest idea of what to do:(

is ther a manual of some sort that i've missed or is it just a case of sheer luck and continual retrys to find out what does what and what to push when?:(

please can you help

If you follow the tips (a button appears at the bottom left) then they will guide you through the game. There's really only one thing you can do at a time (well, when the checkmark button is flashing). Click the flashing checkmark button and the game will set things up for you. When in doubt, click the flashing checkmark Don't be overwelmed by the buttons and popups. Their uses will be revealed as you play the demo.

The game has extensive in-game help. Just click on anything (buttons, popups, maps) *with* the shift key down (the cursor will change to show a question mark) to get context-sensitive help. For example, if you click on a popup (outside any button) you'll usually get information on what that popup does.

But to answer your question is yes, there is a manual in html and pdf formats with the full game.
