Hey, here's one for you. In the ship displays that you get when clicking an individual vessel, the little animation at the top works fine *for the Japanese.* When playing the Allies, I always get a frozen image of the ship with a small arrow icon right beneath it and no ocean wave animation. I have tried this in saved games and in new, and, while not exactly big, it's annoying--and very odd. Any ideas?

It might be another manifestation of theDirectX bug that others have been seeing.  A hot fix is due out soon. 

I can't guarantee that is it, but we've been seeing some odd artifacts and general speed improvements across the board in our testing.

Edit: One other thing. If you're running in windowed mode, you might want to try full screen. Sometimes windowed mode can have some display artifacts that don't show up in full screen mode.
