Possible bug in TF management...

Post by GBS »

Happening in Guadalcanal and sorry if already brought up. TFs just take off on their on even when on Human control. Example: I form a transport TF in Noumea to take some engineers to Lunga. next turn I see the TF in the middle of the coral sea heading to townsville to "Pick up 3rdBG/8th BS". What?[&:] One time I let it go to see what would happen because that squadron was at Townsville. When it got to Townsville, it just turned around and headed back to Noumea, empty. BBUUGG! Another example: I form a TF at Sidney with AKs to take supplies to PM. I give orders to load supplies, destination PM, and set to CS control. The next turn I see the report that one of the AKs was sunk by a sub and when I look I find the TF empty 5 hexes out of Sidney with the destination of cooktown. This is almost a killer for me if I can't manage logistics because that is what WITPAE is all about. Can this be fixed? Is it just in the small scenarios? Very disapointing.

Well, if something is on CS it's not really on Human control any more.

This 3rdBG/8th BS is a known bug and a few threads on it.
