Tripartite Act events

Post by carnifex »

The Tripartite Act events should take into account if the Axis Minor is already active. I put diplomatic pressure on Rumania and Hungary early on and activated them into the axis so they can produce units and get their war economy up, and then a year later I get the "Rumania is now part of the Axis" event.

I have seen this before with Romania as well as Hungary.  I assume it can happen for Bulgaria, but I have never seen it.  It doesn't seem to cause a problem, it just seems silly that the event fires.

To pile on a bit, its also possible to get the Hungarian and Bulgarian territorial demand events to fire while Romania and Germany are at war with the USSR.  I decided to back Romania against a demand for Bessarabia event.. and low and behold the USSR DOW'd me in April 1940, I had to finish off Yugoslavia pretty fast on that one.. then I was shocked when Hungary and Bulgaria made their territorial claims against Romania and asked me to back them... I think its less likely the claims would have been made had Romania already been allied with Germany in a war against Russia.

@carnifex, you can be allied with somebody, but you can make an official and fustian ceremony later. Just for the people.
