Japanese BCs and CBs

Post by bstarr »

I've always had an obscession with the Japanese B65 project. Would the japanese AI use BCs and/or CBs if I included them in a mod?

Also, anyone have any ship art for these proposed ships?

Come to think of it, Japan originally called them BCs, so BC may be more correct anyway.

I'm tinkering with adding a few of my own ideas to my own (nonpublic) mod, which is, in truth, only changeing a few classes in your Ironman Mod. I plan on including a pair of B65s, an early Agano class, an Oyodo CVL conversion, and maybe a heavy CL using a triple-gun turret layout - nothing to bragg about just a few hypothetical designs that have always interested me. Anyway, I was wondering if I made these class changes on ships you've added to the game would I need to change anything in the AI script to make the AI recognize them. I'm almost 100% certain I wouldn't have to - it's not like I'm changing the ID number - but the way my luck runs the changes would screw up your new cover forces and leave my ships gathering barnicles in port.

ps. oh, and despite how it may sound, I'm following your earlier instructions and waiting until the next patch comes out before I really start building new stuff. Or should I go ahead now?
