Unknown Program Irritant

No matter where I click on the game to play (desk top or program files) I get that annoying Vista "Unknown Program" screen every time. I've had this happen with other games & programs I've installed or downloaded before, but only the first time I opened them not every stinking time.

I've also got the Microsoft Security shield superimposed over the link on my desk top. Any thoughts?
