Scenario "Spoilers"

Post by Adam Parker »

Looking around the Dev's website I came a cross a scenario briefing screenshot.

In it, it lays out some G2 intelligence for the player. I think this scenario relates to the breakout from Stalingrad and it advised something like; "the enemy's forces are still strong so try to avoid attacking them directly, focus on their flanks".

I personally would look at leaving this type of information out from the scenarios - and let the player work out their own strategies and tactics as a test of their mettle.

Give an historical sitrep by all means but just leave it at that - or maybe make further "tips" accessible only for introductory players, if such a difficulty level exists.

Hope that makes sense!

Hello,

the description is from the Russian encirclement at Stalingrad. There are several hints for beginners, but they are usually at the end of the briefing so the advanced player can skip them by stopping to read.

We hope this way its a help for newcomers and it doesn't bother the others.
