Amphibious Tf Won't Finish Loading

Post by witpqs »

I looked for this problem in existing threads (thought I remembered something like it) but couldn't find anything.

I created an amphibious task force and verified it had plenty of room for the one unit to be loaded. When loading just kept going I looked and there last 10 motorized support were not loading in spite of there being plenty of room.

Is this a known/solved issue or do you need save games, etc.?

I checked and unfortunately I do not have a true 'before' save game, but I am uploading two save games with it stuck. You can see TF55 at San Francisco loading USN 111 Base Force. Plenty of space left but it will not load the remaining tiny part of the LCU.

Save game slot 5 is 42/3/3 (this post).

Save game slot 6 is 42/3/4 (next post).

I think that some calculation has gone wrong. The 3 APs are fully loaded (only 80% of cargo space used at amphibious missions) and the xAP should be able to load 2080 cargo. It already has 1857 and 10 Motorized support has a loading cost of 240 which in total would be 2097.

The figures of already loaded equipment don't add up to the figures presented but apparently there's 3 days of supply included also so that might be the missing part.

Did you Verify Load before starting? It should have told you that it wouldn't work or we have a problem?

Well, the good news is that it loaded fine for me - using code with patches in it.

There was indeed a patch in this area and it is probably the reason you can not load. It had to do with heavy devices that must go in cargo space and a tendency of the load routines to try and cross load if possible.

Should be OK with the patch. In the meantime, you can stop the load - it just ain't gonna ever get on that boat.

I worked around it easy as you say. Glad it's fixed.
