How do I know what version of WiTP:AE I have?

How do I know what version of WiTP:AE I have?

Have just purchased a new version of AE but don't know if it already has some of the patches installed as basic. How can I tell if it is vanilla or (say) version 1.1, 1.2 etc? Is there somewhere that tells you on one of the first few screens whilst loading?

Upper-right of the main menu screen.
x - ARPAnaut

x - AES
