Has anyone else gotten their VBF Squadrons that replace the carrier based VS Squadrons in 1942? It happened on both Saratoga and Hornet when I upgraded them. Issue get addressed in Beta?

Fixed perhaps, but once they've been issued to the individual carriers, they seem to stay. I have 3 CV's docked in SF right now with a squadron each of F4U-1D's. I just hope they don't venture out to take on the KB too soon. My Zeros have a hard enough time besting Buffaloes and the like!

Correct, it doesn't fix it if it already happened, it prevents it from happening in the future. If you have them, you can either use them or park them in the US until their actual historical arrival date.

That or slaughter unsuspecting IJN Pilots with an allied "Wonder Weapon" [:D]

I "upgraded" them into Wildcats..........didnt seem right otherwise.  Except for one squadron that I put ashore in Australia as they had to recieve F2A Buffalos until enough Wildcats could be made available.
