help with mines

A quick question on defensive mining: I conquered Lunga as Allies. I think the manual states that getting hit by your own mines is very rare, so is it a good idea to mine the place, or will my own transports and defending SCTF's run a risk of getting hit?

Unless there was a change in this from WITP, it is very rare.  And mining the area helps if there is a bombardment/Apmphib tf going there.  The only time I've had a ship run into one of it's own mines was Argonaut running into one she had just laid.  I'd say go for it.

I agree. If you can do it, do it. It's an effective defensive deterent.
