*Poof Gone Vanished* Possible bug?

Well, the 223, 224 Group RAF HQs and the III Indian Corps HQ just vanished. They were supposed to arrive at the United Kingdom but er, they are NOT there [&:]

These 3 units were the ones in Malaysia which obviously surrendered but they were supposed to come back (the HQs rule thing).

They are not the in land units list. They are not in the Ground Units Reinforcements Schedule list either. **Poof, gone**

I have seen the same issue. Every unit that arrives in the UK never appears in the UK. All other off map areas seem to work properly, but not the UK.

Not entirely true. Look at my screenshots (sorry for the poor quality though [:)]). The AHQ Far East DID arrive, but not the other 3 units.

It's not an issue, that I'm aware of. Apparently, if these HQs were destroyed in Malaya, they are permanently destroyed. The "appearing" in the UK is a programming thing. The higher command HQs will stay in the UK for awhile. You can go pick them up in the UK if you want to.

Brad, since the days of WitP (2004) the following units will be back:

- the Chinese units
- ALL the HQs (except the ABDA, Asiatic Fleet)

I have read the AE manual and I can't remember reading that that rule was changed. Someone might correct me though. But then why the AHQ Far East is back? [&:]

The manual states MOST HQ units will respawn after destroyed. However, it doesn't specify which ones won't. Does anyone know who doesn't come back?

Medicff, I guess those that don't respawn are the ones which don't make historical sense: ABDA, Asiatic Fleet, Malaysian Army. In other words: the war is over for them. RIP [8D]

But the Army Corps, Air HQs, etc... the war continues for them. I even remember that I saved (back on 2004) some fragments of these British Air HQs (the 223 and 224 that is)... 60 days later, the whole unit was back. So I had the unit + the fragments, which I combined.
