Beta patch: Fuel cargo dissappears when traveling off-map

Not sure whether this is a bug, but every off-map fuel convoy I've seen since applying the patch will loose most of its fuel cargo on the way.
Example:
One convoy of three tankers escorted by a DD and a DMS going from Abadan to Karachi starts out with 31.000 fuel and when they show up in the waiting box near Karachi the fuel is down to 6000.
So, where did 25.000 units of fuel go?
