In the game I'm playing I noticed the Austrian player is receiving 10 points for NML, vs everyone else who are receiving only 1 point. Yet everybody's food reserves are equal or greater than Austria's.
The big difference in Austria and the other nations is that it has a negative morale(happiness index).
The only thing I can come up with is that the designer must decided that when a nation's morale level is in the negative zone, it goes up by a higher amount when there is plenty of food!
Maybe Queen Marie Antoinette escaped from France and the Revolution, returned to Austria, and actually is providing "cakes" to the people![:'(]
Anyone else noticed this, or have any thoughts as to why this is occurring!

You get 10 points for plenty of food when you have negative NM, versus 1 when positive.

I believe that is mentioned in the manual.
