Hi, I see you like deadball associations. I plan to start one soon and was wondering if you know where to get those old stadium prk files or photos. Thanks.

Hey, rich. Most of my prk files I created myself based on a combination of historical data, some Puresim data, and a spreadsheet called Baseball Changes Through The Years, created by CrashDavis. I've modified my copy to add more data and to include the data that I'm using. As far as park background images, most of the ones I'm using came from a pack called Classic Parks, which you can get from PadresFan's site, or I could send it to you. I definitely do enjoy this period of play and it's quite fun, so if there's anything I can do to help you get started, just post it here or PM or email at jeffreymgeorge@comcast.net.

I've downloaded the classic parks from PadresFan but there are some that are earlier, before 1910, that aren't included.  I think good photos of the those parks might not exist.  Now PureSim includes the historical data for each park.  So all that's left really is the photo and setting the ball flights/bases.  If you have any decent photos of those old parks or can direct me to where I can download them that would be great.  Or if you've made prk files that you'd like to share that would be better.  Have you considered posting them on PadresFan's site?  Otherwise I've considered using fictional photos that look like oldtime parks.  I don't know what they really looked like anyway and I'd rather not use something that looks crappy even if it is real.

Unfortunately, I don't have any extra resources than those for images. I, too, would like to see some suitable photos, but, like you said, I just don't think they exist. So what I did is just use those hand painted images and set the dimensions and flight paths. After a few seasons you get used to it.

Here are two zips of park photos you might want to check out. There not anything fancy. But, they are different, especially where the hard to find old parks are concerned. Depending on your rez, might need to be edited.

Can't recall authors name of these, its been a few months since I downloaded, but I remember it had lots of others, I think for DMB.

Those are some very cool images. I definitely see some that I am going to take advantage of.

Yes, what's really cool is the park is superimposed on the photo.  The b&w pix will be especially nice for the deadball era.  And ball flights won't so important to change with these, they'll go in the general direction which will work here.  That'll save a lot of work.  Thanks very much for the links.
