game recommendation

Post by d007mog »

This game really needs a function to scroll through units to make sure
one doesnt forget to move any given unit

I also agree on the point that the germans should be able
to move their allies during the german turn

Both the General and his desk were captured by the Russians on the field of the Stalingrad debacle. [:D][:D][:D]

Exactly the point! [:D]

The game models this quite well right now with the separate phases for each nation.

That is why I love this game. I just control Germany and no one else. I do play with some house rules. I always give the UK,USA and the USSR 1000pp as soon the USA entry in the war. I always have 4 subs at all times in the atlantic. I play "hard" all axis, very easy all allies. I never upgrade any div, except for the SS ones. I only buy 1 Corps and I armor corps once every two months and a fighter if I have the money to do so. How about you or anyone else? I'm also learning to like the sprites, as the counters are very bad.

I allow the AI to control other nations until they join the Axis, then I switch then to human control. The Italian forces, grouped together and pursuing the same goal, make a credible fighting force. The Bulgarians not so much.

Hi Heras, you said you switch other nations to human control when they join the Axis, I cant seem to do that when I load a game, the program will not allow me to do that are you referring to the program as it was first made up or after the 1.60 patch is installed, and if you are not using the 1.60 patch how do you switch to the Axis?

Hit F11 key during your turn, there you can select country and change it's "controller" between Human and AI. This works in both versions. After applying patch 1.60 you can also change it in scenario settings screen (after loading game, where all countries all listed). :)
