Appreciation

From the front lines in France and Russia to the deserts of North Africa and the airfields and convoys of Britain, the campaigns of World War II are yours to command in WW2: Time of Wrath! This turn-based grand strategy title, the highly improved and expanded sequel to WW2: Road to Victory, puts the player in charge of the political, economic and military decisions of one or more Axis or Allied nations, including minor nations.

Appreciation

Post by WarHunter »

Thank you, "Wasteland" and Matrix for working together to release the latest patch 1.60.

Its fun to play ToW, where alternate ww2 history is in our hands. The rules set is well within historical parameters and fun enough to be enjoyable vs the AI.
The fact that any nation can be played, at any point in time is refreshing. It really makes a difference when the player can influence either side of the wargame, by making choices to better reflect a perception of history or bring some playability to the battlefield. Choices not seen in many games out there. This makes ToW a rare gem for ww2 games, imho.

Keep up the good work and Thanks again.

I rarely do "Me Too" posts, but I heartily endorse everything that WarHunter has said.
Congratulations to Wastelands and REAL appreciation for their continuing support and for paying attention to players' wants and needs.

Add my name to the list of Wasteland fans. It's developer support like this that will keep me as a return customer in the future. [:)]

I'm still amazed that because I bought WW2RtV, they gave ToW to me for free! It makes me feel like buying a copy just to support this team. [&o]

Fully agree with everybody else. Not sure I will actually play SoP, apart from learning. Pacific never was that hot with me. But I will definately buy it just to support their effort.

In fact, Wasteland should put up some "donate button" somewhere. Each time they help you with something, or put out a patch or fix that makes the game better, we can give them some extra to biscuits for the Friday afternoon tea. I would have gladly paid £10 for the new fighters alone. [:D]

Poles drink tea and eat biscuits? I thought they were more civilized than that and drank coffee...

Come to think of it, I don't know what they drink in Poland (afraid to ask), but whatever it is, it's well deserved. [:)]

Well usually I shy away from those two beverages. I much rafter prefer mineral water form mountainous regions of Poland.

Zubrowka Wodka, and some of the best beer on Earth![:'(]

I too want to add my congratulations to the team. I've just looked at the official patch, and its quite a piece of work.

One question, though. I thought that I had seen that we were going to get an option to show unit strengths out to 1 decimal place instead of rounding off to a whole number. Was I mistaken, or am I just missing it?
