Loss of income to Privateers

Post by gravey101 »

I'm seeing a loss of merchant income to Privateers, even though there are no enemy Privateers in the same zone as any of my merchants. Does this make sense?

I suspect it might have something to do with effecting trade going through a port. Are those privateers in an area by your port, or perhaps proximal to a port your receiving trade from?

possibly - I can't see Privateers in Fog of War sea zones, and I am probably trading with ports in that category. I dont see any though in the zones that i can see.

Really just wondering if there is anything i can do other than hunting down every Privateer in sight!
