Human turn, vs ai turn inconsistency or bug ?

Post by bresh »

Hi Marshall.

Patch 1.0603.

In pbm game, we notiched that holding an area without putting forces into garrison seems to act differently if its human played or ai-played.

Example
GB has corps in Stockholm area(city was ungarrisoned) no forces put into city, Swedish fleet is inside port, witch is blockaded.
(France moves last, so shifting to eco phase(or new month) after French land&combat phase).
Try 1. Fr-played by human, after Fr-land-phase the game tries evac-battle, fails and is destroyed.
Try 2. Fr-played by ai, no evac battle happens, the Swedish fleet is still inside Stockholm port.

So we guessing 1 might be a bug, or it acts inconsistent.

Witch one is the right way?
Marshall we hope you still able to check forum when on your trip !

Btw we notiched Eco-phase run by AI still sets VP's score to 0 it seems.

I think our host send you austria-savegame(TGHQ Game 5, To correct lost VPs, and Venetia problem.)
This was 2.go where French phase was run by AI.
tm.asp?m=2267525

We asking what should happen, evac if province is occupied by enemy forces, port not garrisoned, or fleet able to stay in port ?

I'll have to look at the city ownership. If the city is enemy owned (Which might be the case if a corps is in the area) then the fleet should evac.
Thank you

Ehm.
Would city ownership differ between if French land phase was played by human or Ai ?

As far as i can tell in eco-phase, Stockholm is GB controlled.
Im not aware how its listed prior to French-land phase, but as far as i can read Robfun included the savegame prior to running French-land by ai.
Nor am i aware, if the evac should occour once if it switched controlled between Land-phase and Eco-phase.
