Japs teleporting in scenario 006

At the start of the Dec 8th scenario, there is a Jap replenishment TF with a lone AO, and another TF with two DD's in the Kurile islands.
The oiler has a destination for Midway island, and the destroyer bombardment TF does also.
After the first turn, the oiler is teleported to Midway, and the 2 destroyers are nearby to the northwest.

This happens if the AI or a human has control of the Japs.

It is the same magic move that gets KB just off Pearl on the first turn in scenario 1 as well as the Bataan Island invasion force etc.

this isn't a bug, it is intentional.
Several TFs (the one with an asterik) have an accelerated first turn move if you leave surprise attack on. This represents these TFs having left port before Dec 7 (like a week or 10 days). Historically, this happened with the malaya invasion forces and, of course, with the japanese carrier force for its attack on Pearl.

er, yes, except that the DD TF is supposed to bombard Midway on dec. 7, not the oiler... the oiler should wait near the position where the DDs currently end up on dec. 7

It looks somewhat like the TFs were switched. As it is, the oiler is usually sunk on d+2 or d+3 in my experience, as it can't flee midway fast enough.

Yes, I sank the oiler with one of my subs. The oiler shouldnt be there, it doesnt make sense.
