One more Grand Campaign?--CLOSED----

Post by Chickenboy »

I'm looking for a PBEM opponent. Have one going already versus the Allies, but I think I can take another.

I have more experience in WiTP as Allies versus the IJ AI. A small scenario PBEM in AE under my belt. Playing both IJ and Allied in AE versus the AI. Long-time follower of UV, WiTP and now AE boards, discussions, etc. Play to the bitter end one way or another.

As I don't have a long track record playing the IJ in PBEM, I would think a novice-intermediate Allied player would be a good opponent. If you prefer to play the IJ, I would think a more seasoned IJ player would be a good opponent.

I have a job, a wife and two kids, probably like many of you. WiTP-AE comes lower on my list of priorities, so times that I can punch out 3 turns a day are few and far between. I can probably do one turn a day most days, sometimes (weekends) two. I do some travelling for my job, so there may be periods of time that I'm away from the game for a week or two. I would, of course, let you know about that ahead of time.

The game:

1. Ahistoric December 7 start-we will need some house rules to put this in effect. Otherwise, limited house rules.
2. One day turns.
3. I'd prefer to start a game and work through patch II when it comes rather than waiting.
4. Bent towards realism. If you are the "Invade Tokyo in 1942" sort, we're probably not the best fit for one another.
5. AAR? Open to discussion.

We've got to be able to get along for some time-that's a big risk with PBEM isn't it? Let's chat (PM me) if you're interested.
