Changing AI to Human in PBEM

Changing AI to Human in PBEM

Hi all
Very cool game. My friend and I have started a PBEM. Question. We have made most of the neutral minor nations AI. We would like to change them to Human control at a later stage in the game i.e when they are attacked etc. I can do this in a hotseat game but I can't seem to do it in a PBEM game. Is there a file I can edit that will change control from AI to a Human player of my choice. Example if a AI controlled Romania becomes a German Ally and joins the fight againts Russia how to I make the Romanian's under the control of the Human German player?

Press F11 and just tell the system where Romania is to go. The things to change is "AI" to "Human", and chosing player 1 or 2 (in this case 1).

See also my "Player 0" topic in the War Room thread. It's happened a couple of times in our pbem, as various minor Axis nations join up. I automatically switch them to Player 4 and then back to Player 1 before I close the gameturn.
Still no idea why Player 4 or whether any other player ID would work.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite malfunction
