I Need To Get A Life

Post by ruffels »

Lay in bed this morning thinking about how many hours I have spent playing this game since I got it. I started playing the campaign on July 28 and as of today am on the August 42 turn. I probably spend 2 hours a day during the week playing this damn thing. Once a turn is over I go "I'll just check on this" and before I know it another hour has gone by. My house is a mess, I need to make some bread and all I'm thinking about is how to stop the Japanese from taking over India. I need to get a life!!!

Sorry, you can have AE or a life, you can't have both. You made your decision...[:D]

You can have a bit of a life, just make sure you run it efficiently in order to maximize your available AE time.

And cleaning up is overrated, and you can just get a friend to buy some bread for you and drop it off at your front door. Or just order some pizza and breadsticks.

Should be no problem.
I indeed have a life, and I spend 4-5 hours pr day on WITP (AE), but I work the rounds as part of a team, we do the rounds from my home and I think the game is "better played" that way. If you like your hobby, then get yourself a housekeeper - you can spend more time doing the rounds that way.

It's Gary Grigsby's new project War in the East. Eastern Front in Europe, if you poke around Matrix's main page there is more info on it.

The real trick is learning to adapt your life to the game. There are many things that you don't require while playing this game. Take for instance food, being amerced in this game means that you simply don't need it. This game is also good for giving up smoking, because all you have to do is leave them out of reach.

Only 2 hours a day?  You have a life, not to worry.

Yeah. Maybe you should make some sort of vow of celibacy or something. You may want to look on the boards to see if anyone has done something like that. Let me know how that works out for 'ya. [:'(]

I'll say. When you spend 10 hours a day, seven days a week, then you're a true WitP'er.
