Played at Rosary's haus in a duel of Heavies in the dungeon. Rosary's Catapult was defeated by my Heaphsuscritter. Game ended with Catapult down a CBT,RL and LO proof yet again that twin PBs are a good thing.

Dueled with Steel at my house in the savanah. Was a nice gentlemanly game. My Hoodlum vs his Mugger We spent the 1st 1300 seconds burning down the savanah and waiting for the fires to go out. Had some initial success with LLs and AC12 but once we got in AC20 range he started hitting and I started missing Figured I was a goner and after failing to jump out of burning woods on a big hill hex started running for my fallback position. He tried to jump out of woods over a med hill hex to close with me and failed and was forced to go around the hill through some woods that I had recently ignited. He fired 1st and put all 3 AC20 into my CT and I didn't fall. My return fire knocked him down and that gave me the game (fallback position was water hex). Steel that was one of the closest games that I haven't lost. You did everything right, capitalized on my errors and had me holding my breath for what felt like hours. Was a fine, fine game. Skill didn't save me it was just luck. So all I can say to you is "Stop Getting Better, Damit"

Now that that is out of the way.
Dueled Karacan Thursday did a random team vs team, Was a good game where the tides turned when I decided to blow up one of his recons with his other recon in the same hex. Then took the leg and rt or lt forgot off the other and let him lay there awhile while I took the CT out of last recon he had hoping it would explode which it didn't : (. During this time his Hvy was pounding my light and he barely made it out of the lof. Once my light was free (the rest I blame on Hetz completely) I took my light over to his mech that was kicking back on the ground and proceded to stand over it and blow his head off(thats the hetz part). My 1st gameplan against his Hvy was to send my recons and use one as a Human bomb but he caught on to that fact and stopped him from blowing up (Hey Larkin we need to be able to target are own mechs!) In the end I won.

Later Thursday went against Hetz and Yep that was a Awesome battle, My biggest mistake was not just wanting to Kill hetz but wanting to Blow his mech up : /. For some reason I decided to do called shots to his CT when I could have taken his badly dmg'd arm or RT LT out heh or chance the head but Nope wanted him to Blow so chose the CT and YES I was Amazed that he was standing fine and dandy after 3 AC20's to the CT. YES thats correct 3 AC20's. Next round I had another chance and yep aimed for the ct and : ( both shots missed which then proceded with him getting me to fall which did wonders for his Morale and the winning of the Game. Awesome all around!

Friday Started off with a Game against Pete Y and things were going well till my .. Light Mech Spirit decided to screw up and fall down on top of this wide open hill instead of falling forward off the hill : (. Which left him wide open trying to recharge his JJ's while getting pounded with tons of ac4's and ac7's which long story short Obliterated my Spirit (failed another chance to get off the hill). So with him out that just left my Hvy(Lich) vs his Hvy and Light. I dug in and luckily the spirit Pilot was still able to give me a view of what Pete was doing, he popped in with a Needler that I quickly took the leg off of then proceded to his hvy which we traded blows back and forth on. Finally took the Leg off his hvy which thankfully fell face 1st, so I proceded to finish off the Light. All in all was a really close fight especially since my Light decided to be cannon fodder.

Next was a Pete Y + Steel vs Hetz and Rosary
Hetz and Rosary had Hoodlums (ugh) vs my . . . MindFlayer and Pete Y's widowmaker. I had a good spot and was able to pepper both Rosary and Hetz while Pete was getting into position till he Very Untimely decided to fall down right in front of there AC20 Barrage . And long story short Pete was gone and I was looking at 4 AC20's. Grats Rosary on Elite Status : )

Next was a Duel vs Firestorm
1st one started off with lights and I was Blessed with getting off some Gauss shots and ac7's on the same leg(ouchies) but unfortunaly he had to go and the game didn't save : (. 2nd Try later that day we had . Were they lights or recons? dont remember but I had 2 Flamethrowers vs his 2 lrm9's 1 lrm6 and he was blessed with wide open area for me to traverse and play Turkey shoot. Some how (still dono how) I made it close enough to him to actually get some shots off till I decided to avoid getting charged by him from the air and instead fell going backwards :/. His Jock did a awesome charge again from the air which destroyed my LT. 1 more charge after that and that was it My Jock ran out of HP's and died laying on the ground. I know Firestorm was bummed my Jock died since im sure he was hoping to take my head off or Kick my crotch in : ).

they were lights. yours was a Pyromite, an experiment of mine designed for a swarm team. the Pyromaster was a med that was supposed to go with a lot of Pyromites. they were designed with teh Wolfpack in mind (a team i was fortunate enough to never have to face).
on teh way over to me I recall steel first dropping his drink (which i helped him pick up) and then later on finding some spare change.
and yes, i was dissapointed that your jock died. i was hopeing to be able to season you to perfection for a late-night snack.
I just love it when people jump backwards off cliffs and proceed to do a triple back-flip (with a nice spiral) into a faceplant. =)

ahhh, now that was gratifying. i just did a duel with steel, who got a Ghost and me a Exhuminator in the savannah.

i thought i had found a good parking position, but when it actually came down to it, he had cover and i didn't. once we caught sight of eachother (and a few forests on fire) we began trading blows... my poor jock couldn't seem to hit nothing, missing probably 6 43% shots in a row. finally (when my titans war paint was looking nice) i decided to go in closer... got back in sight just as he walked into some heavy forests. a few more blows were traded, and his CT and RT went red. i was hopeing for some lucky shots to take one (or both) out and win it, but that didn't seemt o be happeining. then a lucky PG shot drilled my cockpit, tossing it into the red and giving my jock quite a 57 point headache. my sheild saved my *** a few more times while my jock missed some more 70% shots, and then i was out of LRM6 ammo and had 2 LRM9 shots left.
next LRM9, 4 damage to RT, RT disabled.
"Well," i thought, "at least i did some significant damage before i died."
then i read the next message.

it said:
Engine destroyed. Titan disabled!!

ohhhhhhh..... that felt good........

good game there steel, i just barely won by the skin of my teeth and the luck of the roll...

Got beaten up by Steel on sun. His CraterMaker blew my BrainBender (a design that is, sadly, no longer with us) to smithereens. Steel ended the game entirely green and I ended the game ended

Had the opposite happen later in polar. WidowMaker (me) & MindFlayer (AI) beat Steel and Peter Y's Crumbler and Mjolnir. 5 Plasma and 3 NBs are fun (if they're not pointing at you).
