Automatic ship selection

It doesn't work anymore, I keep getting the message not enough ships of the correct type. Possible but not when I try and create an CG in PH with half the pacific fleet based there. I had noticed this sometime ago but zept forgetting to report it.

I'd tried to form a number of different TF in PH, CG, SG, BG and all did exactly the same thing. I tried to form a SG in Noumea with the same result, I don't have a save it's at home I think.

Murphy has stuck his nose in and now I can automatically create with ships but with around 6-8 ships which is light in ship when there are enought for a 12-15 ship TF. I've included this save. Go to PH or Noumea.

I'll look, but first what are CG, SG, and BG. Carrier/cruiser/cargo group, surface/submarine group, battle group???

Also, there is considerable randomness in auto ship selection. You get somewhere between minimum and maximum. If you want a larger or smaller size, 'bout the only thing to do is build the TF manually.

Sorry carrier, surface and bombardment groups. I wasn't aware of the automatic random selection in size, ships yes. I think this needs tweeking then as forming a carrier TF with 2 CV, 1 CA, 1 CL and 3 DD makes no sense when there are 3 CV, 7 CA, 5 CL and 30 DD in the port.

I've been back to my other save and I cannot recreate the problem where it says 'there are not enough shipto the correct type'.
