How do Carriers get their planes back?

Post by ruffels »

The Wasp took serious damage near Gaudalcanal. All her planes moved to that base. I sent her to Sydney for repairs. So part of her squadrons are on board ship but at 0 planes, and part are on the island. How do I get the squadrons beefed up again? Does it happen automatically or do I have to use a CVE or something and bring in replacement squadrons?

On another note how do I know which bases have mines and/or torpedoes to replenish my task forces? How do I replenish bases with these weapons? Do I have to send AE's to the bases?

Thanks folks!

You need to move the Wasp's squadrons back to her if you want them to pick up any replacements. Don't bring in new squadrons for her, just collect the fragments and move them to the ship.
fair winds,
