Rail from Perth

I just had the &th Aus Div dismount from trains in middle of desert going from perth tp Brisbane along with Aus I COrp supports. Is this a known bug, why did it happen and why is strat move no longer an option for any of the units?

It is a known bug, don't move units greater than 25 hexes in strat mode otherwise they come off the rails.
 
Not sure if its been fixed.
Moscow by winter? Only if you send Fast Heinz to Kiev.
