Sandbox mode?

Sandbox mode?

I've been looking at the two posted AARs and noted the repeated use of the word "scenario"? Isn't there a sandbox mode, where the player can set up the galaxy, number of enemies, etc. to his liking?
We are all dreams of the Giant Space Butterfly.

Yep. Scenarios are pre-made maps. You have the option of playing random maps, with the ability to specify characteristics.
Those 2 AARS Aroddo posted were from one of the default scenarios that come with the game.
