Ok I am ready to surrender with this game, I just downloaded the whole game again from Matrix and put 1.6 patch in and put in fall gelb from another player like I was told and now I crash right away not after the first screen, can anyone here help me with Pbem or is it only me having troubles.

If the game always chrash, even after clean installation. The problem could be at your computer's hardware level, or drivers, like the video drivers, or an old installation of Windows which begins to be corrupted.

I have ToW running on 2 separate computers and no chrashes. Did you try installing on a fresh installation of Windows (after saving all data, and formatting the partition)? Are the video drivers of your graphic card up to date? Which version of Directx are you running?

I've had zero problems with crashes. Could be as Micheljq suggests a hardware issue.

It seems to be working now Mich thanks for your concern and I have the latest drivers from nvidia for my graphics card, it may have been the way I was placing fall gelb into the pbem folder. As far as the other crashes I sent them to Bleck because the last three lines on the console text are in Polish. My windows MsXp professional is only 2 years old.
