800 x 600 Resolution Problem

Hello,

Due to poor eyesight I prefer to use the lowest resolution available (so everything is bigger on screen), but when I set the game to display 800 x 600 in the options menu, the game crashes at the end of a battle, at the point where the Results screen should come up. It works fine at the next resolution up, 1024 x 768. Is this a general fault, or one specific to my system?

1024 x 768 is minimum resolution

It is printed on the data sheet

I just played at the 800 x 600 setting though and it played through fine.

OK, thanks.

Not a big problem, as the battle result seems to save - it just means I have to restart WAR to go to the next battle in the campaign. I would guess it must be a problem with my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro not liking the sudden change in resolution.

I've got all  Geforce type graphics cards or integarated graphics on my 5 machines.

They all play at 800x600 even though not required by system specs.


I can only suggest you play around with your settings and you might hit upon a workable combination.
