COG:EE Discount Coupon - Erik Rutkins Question

Erik,

I left a message for support and I tried to send you one directly (not sure if it made it because your box appeared full) a couple of days ago, but I was recently trying to get a discount code for COG:EE since I was an original owner, but I could not do it. Kept saying I had already used it. At this point I'm not sure how I would have used it since I never purchased it, but it is possible that maybe I downloaded in the past with the intent to buy but never did.

Could I possibly get another discount code since I never used it? If so, let me know what I need to do. In my emails to you and support, I included my order number.

Friendly bump...with additional question.

Can you use the $10 upgrade discount along with the holiday sales promotion, or can you only use one or the other? Seems like you should be able to use both but just wanted to confirm.

Sorry for bumping up again, but I'm having no luck in getting my question answer through the official suppport help desk (or here) and has been nearly a week since I made my first request. I'm sure the holiday might have had something to do with it so just hoping for a quick response.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to hear that you haven't heard back from our help desk. Games that are part of the holiday sale do not also have their promo codes enabled. There were some issues with that last week, which should now be fixed. The promo codes will be re-enabled for games that are on sale when the sale ends.

Following Challerain's advice to get to the this site. Should there not be a means to determine whether my coupon will be applied even in the Physical Shipment?
Too bad, isn't it. Intricate games can be codified, but more than a one-step transaction and it's Hell getting an answer.

Matrixgames should have put a disclaimer up about coupons and codes like they do on grocery coupons or cut out coupons in the paper.
"Not Valid with any other Promotion or Sale." That would have ended any confusion then.

You're right that we should have been more prepared and informative regarding the coupons. We're fixing that after the fact, but we should have had it fixed beforehand.
