TOAW 3.4 release timeframe?

Post by morleron1225 »

Is there a projected date, or range thereof, when we can expect version 3.4 to be released? After reading Ralph's blog I'm really looking forward to the changes, particularly the ones in regard to turn sequence - supply evaluation at the start of each player turn is something TOAW has needed for a long time - for example.

It all depends upon Ralph's schedule, and I don't think even Ralph can predict that for certain. We had him solid over September and October and got a lot of stuff done. There are just a few items left to sort out, so I think we're really close to finishing the code. But he hasn't posted since November 1st. When we can expect him back at it is unknown.

And remember that once the code is finished, there are a list of things that still have to be done to build the executable file that is released to the public (containing new/updated scenarios, documents, new graphics, etc).

Thanks for the info.  I'll light some incense and pray that Ralph gets a chance to spend more time on TOAW. [;)]
