CD version of the Game?

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. CD version of the Game?

Does anybody know if I purchase the Physical CD version of the game if it requires the CD to be in the drive while playing the game?

Once you have the game on your computer, you can just pack the CD away in you bookshelf!
