Explination of "gamey" minefields

Post by bacchus »

It is not my intent to start a whine thread in any way but I was reading some old posts about issues with mine laying in opponents hexes and was wondering what the issue was about. I have not explored that aspect of the game in my PBEM and wanted to get some experienced players views before I did anything that would be an exploit of sorts. My opponents so far have been honorable and I want to do the same.

Thanks

Theres as many "gamey" minefields as "honorable" minefields - none.

Feel free to drop the stuff anywhere you deem neccesary. [;)]

Don´t forget that mines disperse fast in blue water tiles.

It's mostly an issue from the old days of stock WitP, where some players would lay fields of tens of thousands of mines at small bases that could never possibly have had them in real life.

Thanks Terminus and Lobaron. Just wanted to check before I left a present [:D] for my opponent.
