Delegation to AI

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Delegation to AI

Post by Michael T »

My friend and I are interested in this game. However we only want to play the daylight bombing for the 700 turn campaign. Is it possible to delegate the night forces of both the Allies and Germany to the AI. Leaving us players to focus on the daylight campaign. Is this possible?
Thanks

Kinda...

The attacker isn't a big problem - set Bomber Command and 205 Group to AI control. You will miss a few Intruder flights with "day" commands such as the 9th and 12th AF, but generally you'll be OK.

The defender might have a harder time, as there is no way to do it at present. You could try changing the commands to AI control at the end of the day, but you MUST change them back to human control before the end of the turn, as the AI will take control of all units when it tries to change bases. This might mess up a carefully planned strategic placement of units...

human vs human should be no problem....just do not use BC and 205th group....and limit the daylight usage of the German NFs
