Multiple Mega-Campaigns

Post by mgcarver »

I have the Lost Victories Mega-Campaign with, what I think is the latest version of SPWAW. When I tried to load the Watchtower Mega-campaign the set-up resulted in multiple layers of Watchtower folders, but Watchtower did not appear on the list of available Mega-Campaigns when I started the game. When I delete SPWAW and reload, putting Watchtower on first, and then Lost Victories, only Watchtower shows up on the list of Mega-Campaigns. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Ahh, the nested directory issue. Look at you directory tree an look for secondary folders with the same name residing within each other. SPWAW uses each folder name once except for a save folder which resides within MatrixGames\SPWAW\ and MatrixGames\SPWAW\MegaCam. Search your directory tree for this file Lost Victories.cfg, when found move it to the MatrixGames\SPWAW\MegaCam folder. This file is what gets displayed in the MegaCampaign list of installed ones. You need to move all files from any secondary folder up into the first folder of that same name IE: If you have multiple folders named Lost Victories all the contents need to be moved into the MatrixGames\SPWAW\MegaCam\Lost Victories folder and then the empty folders can be deleted. All sound files need to be moved into the MatrixGames\SPWAW\snd folder, the game doesn't have seperate folders for main game and MegaCampaigns sounds. Below is a downloadable picture of what a proper looking directory tree should look like with all MegaCampaigns installed to help you sort it out. This applies to all the Megas not just LV I used it as and example because yours wasn't showing up. Good luck
