Order status

Post by Zenra »

I "pre-ordered" mine on 1 May 2002; the Order Status page also lists my order as "new".

You can bet I'll be checking it hourly until it finally says "shipped"!

Since the Matrix store has problems with double billing I would not be surprised if the Status always says New and the items
already shipped...

Things that may you go...Hmmmmmm

Problems or not with the original billing (I ordered with Paypal and had no problems) the order tracking status may only udpdate in some sort of "batch" mode, i.e. the warehouse (fulfillment house?) may only send the list of orders shipped to store software on occasion (maybe even only once a day, at the EOD).

So checking your order status more frequently than that may be like pushing the walk button at a pedestrian crosswalk over and over again. :)

Not that I won't be doing the same. :D

Take it easy guys. Matrix told us that they would ship around the 15th of may. It is still the 14th so cool it. I cant wait either but I do not have the energy to complain about it.

I *guess* you're more of a poster than a reader, huh? You will find another thread on this message board where Erik TWICE gave us updates yesterday. Matrix is not a mistake-free operation, but they've been great about updates.

I'm guessing you're more of a jerk than most.

Another idiot added to my IGNORE list. Thanks MATRIX for having that feature to weed them out, in preparation for PBEM. If they behave like this on a public forum, who needs them as an opponent. If you can't figure out who it is, check out all the duplicate, clueless posts.

one of the things that impresses me the most about these forums is the Intelligent discussion of Ideas, and the mutual respect shown towards others here.

I now know it is not universal, but thats ok. The majority are still tops.

Heck, I believe we could discuss Politics, and World Affairs and trade opinions, and stuff without having a name calling flame fest on this board. I believe from what I have seen, that the vast majority of users here , are mature enough to handle a firecracker like that one in a tactful way.

Getting Stressed!

Post by IanLister »

I cannot believe what I've read here. We are about to get the best computer wargame in years, we've waited, but we've been dealt with openly and honestly and listened to by a bunch of people who have my utmost respect for their attitude. Is it a good time to get stressed? Is it a good time to start slagging people off? No. Like the last few comments on this thread suggest, it's time for a little patience, a little dignity, and a big thankyou to Mtrix for bringing real wargaming back from the dead.
