I just purchased Lost Victories (my first exposure to SPWAW). I successfully installed SPWAW v7.0 from the autorun menu and then downloaded and installed 7.1 patch. I noticed that the default install path for the patch is '/Matrix Games' (space in between words) and not the default '/MatrixGames' (no space) generated by the initial game install. After changing the path and successfully reinstalling the patch, I went into the game and noticed that Lost Victories was already listed under campaigns, even though I hadn't specifically installed it yet.

Since LV already showed up, maybe I didn't have to bother with the following: I next went to install Lost Victories from the CD's autorun menu but then got a long delay followed by a message that it couldn't find setup.exe. Next I double clicked on Setup.exe directly from the CD directory and then ran into the nested issue I read about in the forum. Do I need to bother with installing LV this way, since LV already showed up when I did my initial v7.0 install?

Installing SPWAW (Full version) in the way you did from the LV disk automatically installs LV with it by design. No need to try and reinstall LV by itself. There is an error on the CD in which when you select install LV only it looks for a file upgrade.exe, when the file name is actually update.exe. This would be used if you already had an existing copy of SPWAW installed and you just wanted to import only the MegaCampaign.
