Loading save

I can't load my saved games! It says they are incompatible. I have only ever used the current patch.
Also, I see no prior autosaves like the original CoC had.

Would you mind zipping and sending your save files (both the .sve and .rep file) to me at ericbabe@west-civ.com?  I'd be happy to look them over and see whether anything is amiss.

I don't believe we have any other currently reported issues with save files -- one or maybe two possible problems with PBEM save files that I'm looking into, but nothing in single player.  If you're not able to load any save games at all, perhaps you could describe your procedure for trying to load save games further.

Sorry - was away for the weekend. When I go to zip the Napoleon.sve and .REP files, they both contain 0kb. I have since started a new game and have successfully saved it twice? Is there no autobackup similiar to FOG and COG?

There are autosave files.  They have names like "autosave1.sve".

That was my guess - I do not have these as I have had in CoG and FoF; any ideas?
