how create campaigns

I know it is possible in the editor to downoload a new scenario with a event. Mi cuestion is: where are the units of the previos scenario? Have they to dissapear? Is it possible to create "placement hexes" for the units that fighted in the other scenario? I am thinking in a system like panzer general, for example.

It is possible to make PG style campaigns.  There are a few events that allow you to load a new scenario, transfer units and transfer R&D.  Also, all variables transfer so it is possible to transfer PP or other types of state.  Send me a note if you need more details.
