Replacing Zeroes @ Takao

Post by 1EyedJacks »

In Takao I have to fighter groups:

166 - 3rd Ku S-1 attached to the 23rd Air Flotilla
113 - Tainan Ku S-1 attached to the 23rd Air Flotilla

I can draw aircraft for replacement on one unit but not on the other. I thought that if my supply is good and I've got HQ then I can replace bullets -n- planes w/o probs...

What am I missing here?

damfino, but I have decided not to worry about it (and it's everywhere, not just Takao)

There are so many paths and strange byways in the replacement rules that I just stopped worrying about it. I set them on replacement, give them leaders with good admin ratings, put them where there are adequate supplies and HQ within range and eventually they get the replacements. I think of it as much like real life: you request replacements and you get them when and if the REMFs decide to give them to you [:D]

Any chance one of the groups have already taken replacements?  I think you can only take replacements (planes) once every seven days.  Pilots you can take every day.  Other than that, did both groups have the same plane types?
Man does not enter battle to fight, but for victory. He does everything that he can to avoid the first and obtain the second.

One unit already having taken replacements is the most likely culprit. Be aware that you can add excess planes to the unit though which can help you carry over to the next replenishment opportunity.

Set Replacements to ON, then mouseover it. That will tell you how many days you have to wait to add more aircraft. The max is 12 a/c every 7 days.

Compared to how pilots work, it's simple.

Too cool - thanks Q-Ball, and everyone else. I was muttering unpleasent things under my breath this morning - rofl.
