Would love to read AARs from other players than me, Chuck and Choco. I for one never try some of the things you other players do - such as Sea Lion - or some of the political strategies, such as coup d'etats, or extended sub campaigns, or any of the scenarios besides the campaign, etc.

I plan to jump in to this soon, the only problem is I have no way to capture the images like you guys do.

Do you have photoshop?

If so: make a screenshot (print screen). Go to PS and chose "new", click "ok" and then go to edit and paste the copied image into the newly created space. Then you should flatten layers and it's possible to save as an JPG-file.

Short of Photoshop which is superior of course, even the simple Windows app "Paint" will do. It comes for free with Windows XP (there must be something similar for later Windows OS as well).

I have the paint, so as soon as I get this payment finished I can at least start with that.

Far better, and free, is Paint.NET. This is a great free tool, and what I use for my AARs.

Getpaint.net

Chuck,

thank you for the hint. Just tried it myself. It is clearly a step up from basic Paint.

I plan to start one soon, as soon as I finish my first try with the Germans. currently I am trying to be realistic and took the attacks all the same month. In Russia I am in November and they started pushing back hard along the southern front and the minor axis members. I got hit hard when shock wore off and lost a lot of ground on the southern half of the strike near the oil fields.
Lucky for me I had 10 tank corps at lvl3 within 3 spaces of the bigger half of Moscow, It took 5 turns with bombing, constant attack and all but I finally took it. With that I gained some 500 PP. I also convinced the Russians that I wanted the smaller baltic cities and snuck around their main lines through Estonia and am near surrounding Stalingrad.
Hoping I can put up a good line and hold them off for the winter and then hit hard again when it thaws my tanks out.

Is there a certain side people are wanting to watch reports on?

I have played as the Germans and got all the way to Moscow and surrounded Staling Grad but the axis minors in the south were losing ground quick. Im near the end in that campaign and am looking for a fresh start for my reports

Ok I must be missing something, I found the Print Screen button on my keyboard but for some reason can't get that to do anything?

What could I be missing?

If you are running Vista or Windows 7 then use the very nice Snipping Tool.

PrintScreen, or Alt-Printscreen will put the picture in the clipboard.  You can paste it into PBrush, or the much better Paint.NET, which is free at GetPaint.Net, and well worth the download.
