Prospective Buyer Questions....Battles, Time Scale?

Post by Leeds »

I have Forge and ACWW Blue and the Grey...both have their fine and bad points.

Please advise what the battle scale is for War between the States - is it wham, bam, thank you like ACWW or tactical like FoF?

Also, what is the time scale - 2 weeks, month?

Thanks

It's wham bam like ACWW... I like both ACWW and Forge... but strugglin with like WBTS.... they all have learning curves, maybe I'm just not 'getting' WBTS.. will have to give it a few more tries.. lol buying too many games with this sale.. not enough time!!!.. into Panzer Campaigns Stalingrad, HPS Antietman, East Front and World at Wrath right now.. got Crown of Glory, but haven't had a chance to start a game yet.. looking at Rise of Flight.. but not sure... too many games too little time!!!

Turns are months. I think it works better than AACW for 2 player play. I like a lot of the design mechanics relating to command and reaction movements. Works well.
