Can't Tie a 3rd Party Combat

I'm tinkering with the 3rd party combat system. All looks fine *except* I cannot seem to make a battle a tie.

When I try to put in ~w255 as the file suggests I get the attached screen (spelling mistake and all !).

Tried this for both a battle and a siege but not joy.

Am I doing something wrong ?

I haven't fixed this yet. I'm battling evil in the AI world right now :-0
I'll try and get back to it but there are some pesky lapsing issues that are taking my time for now.
