1097 - Subs More Active?

Post by pad152 »

Did anything change with sub attacks in the Hotfix version 1097?

In the 4 turns following the patch, I've seen 19 ships sunk with another 6 damaged in just 4 days by sub attacks. Subs (Allied & Japanese) all of a sudden, seem a lot more active.

Seems about the same for me, too.
No difference.
Subs very active - but not more so than before patch.

I seem to always lose a sub or 2 when I patch to new version...[:'(]

Subs appear to be allright to me, lots of attacks but then again we are in the opening rounds and I have lots of subs stacked on his invasion sites so I expect there to be alot of action.

Subs are way too bloody in the game, but I haven't noticed any difference since the Hot Patch.

Sub reeaction range max. 1 after hotfix seems to have cured lot of tendency of subs running half ocean after slower targets. Note that this applies only to new Sub TFs, old TFs at sea still retain max. 6 (if set to that).

Is this actually the case? I have run about 20 turns after the patch and hotfix and most of my subs are set to 3 hex reaction. New patrols can be set as well.

Make sure you are running the Hotfix, version 3, which is build 1097.

I noticed that existing patrols set to react > 1 kept their settings after I installed the 1097 hotfix, but react range for newly created patrols couldn't be set higher than one.

My subs worked fine before the pathch and not they work different. I am getting tired of ping pong patching because somebody complains. I ask the devs just why do you pay attention to the forum complainers and ignore all the rest of us? Getting sick of this.

Whisper, I noticed that most of the things fixed on this latest patch were not mentioned on the open forum, so they must have been items that came up for discussion among the developers themselves.

My question to you is if you want them to listen to the rest of the users, how can they if they don't post any requests?

What do you want us to do? most people just play and don't care about this forum. are we all supposed to logon and say oh this is good and that is good. Why don't the devs do their own testing and when that is finished that is the answer. Why do I have to play ping pong because of ten people.
