Just purchased Time of Wrath

Post by Knavery »

Hey folks --
I just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone. I just purchased the game and am about ready to dive into it. I own Korsun Pocket, Highway to the Reich, World at War, and Battles in Normandy none of which I've played. LOL. I'd love to get into them, but as soon as I start, I lose interest--not out of lack enjoyment, but the complete lack of concentration to learn.

After reading the complexity in the description, it seemed that this game might be more up my alley. Of the very few reviews, it's stated that this one is easy to learn, but hard to master--kind of like chess.

I've updated the game to 1.6 and am ready to go. I'll talk to you all soon.

I own and have played all of those but BON. This game will be a different expereince for you I think. It is more intuitive than the others. It should also hold your interest longer being a grand strategy game. Have fun.

Welcome to the club! I've played this game both solo and against someone, and find it much more pleasurable to play against another person. I'm playing this game as the Ally player for the third time, and each game has been completely different. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Welcome Knavery.  I to just got this game (a Christmas gift) and have played it every night.  I mess around with the demo for about two weeks before I bought it (and while it was being shipped) and cannot stop playing the game.  It definitely has that "just one more turn" feel...
