Anatina Base

Post by hbrsvl »

Hi-Where is this base? I have a PBY squadron due to be withdrawn in 4 days and I can't find the base.

1. I went to the Base tab-nothing there.
2. In the Aircraft Withdrawal screen, the squadron is listed, but the Anatina name is grayed out.

I really don't want to pay political points for a unit I never had a chance to use.

Comments and/or location, please.

Thanks, Hugh Browne

The Anatina is an xAK. It arrives at Aden in Jan 42, empty.

I think you are looking for Alameda, California(base next to San Francisco). VP-44, a PBY squadron is based there at start, and is to be withdrawn in 1943.

Hope this helps.

It's on the ship ckammp mentioned, on the withdraw list the ship that is transporting the squadron will be listed if it isn't at a base.
The AE-Wiki, help fill it out

Smeulders-Thanks to all that replied.

But, as I pointed out in my post, when I go to the unit on the withdrawal list, the ship's name is grayed out.

Any further thoughts? HB
